Refund Policy
Version 1.0 - last updated 6 October 2026
This Refund Policy forms part of the Terms of Service of CutMeter, which is provided by KUZUB LTD (company number SC890997, registered in Scotland). Pro is sold by our reseller Paddle, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders; refunds are therefore paid by Paddle. Words with capital letters have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
1. Money-back guarantee on your first purchase of Pro
1.1 If you are not satisfied with Pro, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days after the date of your first payment for Pro, monthly or annual, whether or not you have used the Pro Features. Pro ends when the refund is made.
1.2 The guarantee applies once to each Customer. If a Customer has received a refund under clause 1.1, under any Account, the guarantee does not apply to a later purchase of Pro by that Customer.
2. Renewals
2.1 We email you at least 7 days before an annual subscription renews. If it renews and you do not want it, you can ask for a full refund of the renewal payment within 14 days after the date of that payment. Pro ends when the refund is made.
2.2 Monthly renewals are not refunded. You can cancel at any time to stop the next renewal, and you keep Pro until the end of the month already paid for.
3. Other refunds
3.1 The price paid for the unused part of your Subscription Period is refunded, calculated in whole days, if: (a) we end the Terms of Service under clause 15.3(c) or stop providing the Service; (b) you cancel Pro because we removed a Pro Feature (clause 14.2 of the Terms of Service); (c) you cancel Pro because of a change to the Terms of Service that reduces your rights or increases your obligations (clause 20.2); or (d) you cancel Pro because you objected to a new Sub-processor (section 5.2 of the Data Processing Agreement).
3.2 If the billing address recorded for a purchase of Pro is in the United States of America, the full amount paid is refunded automatically (clause 3.3 of the Terms of Service).
3.3 If Pro is not activated after a successful payment because of a fault on our side, and we do not fix the fault within 2 Business Days after you tell us about it, the full amount of that payment is refunded.
3.4 Every refund includes the VAT or other tax charged on the refunded amount. If you are a business and did not enter your VAT or other tax number at checkout, ask Paddle within 60 days after the payment; Paddle decides on refunds of tax.
3.5 Except as this policy states or the law requires, payments for Pro are not refundable, including for the remainder of a Subscription Period after you cancel.
4. Consumers
If you are a Consumer, the Paddle Buyer Terms give you the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, as the law of your country provides. Under clause 1.1 you receive a full refund in that period even if you have started to use the Pro Features. Nothing in this policy reduces the rights that consumer law gives you, including your rights if the Service is faulty.
5. How to ask for a refund
5.1 Use the link in your Paddle receipt, go to paddle.net and choose "Request refund", or write to support@cutmeter.com from the email address that you used for the purchase. A request is in time if Paddle or we receive it within the period stated in this policy.
5.2 We confirm receipt of a request sent to us within 2 Business Days. Paddle pays the refund to the payment method used for the purchase, in the currency of the payment. Your bank or card issuer decides how long the refund takes to appear on your account.
5.3 Paddle may refuse a refund where there is evidence of fraud or of abuse of refunds.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a problem with a payment, please contact us or Paddle before you ask your bank or card issuer to reverse it, because we can usually resolve it faster. If a payment is reversed through a chargeback, Pro is suspended until the matter is resolved (clause 15.2 of the Terms of Service). Nothing in this policy limits your rights against your bank or card issuer.
